It might sound strange but Becky Lynch and Finn Balor knew each other from their pre-WWE days. Well, the Irish connection is why they have been friends for a long time. While Becky Lynch was born in Limerick, Ireland, Balor was born in Bray, Ireland. In fact, Finn Balor was a reason she entered the wrestling business. When Finn Balor opened a wrestling school in Ireland, Becky Lynch took her admission there. She trained under Finn Balor and Paul Tracey. Five months later in November 2002, Becky Lynch made her professional wrestling debut.

Becky had retired from professional wrestling once, way before even signing for WWE.
