10) 209 Vs Australia (November 2, 2013, Bangalore)

It was the seventh ODI match of the series, and he hit it against Australia in Bangalore. Batting first, India amassed a mammoth total of 383 in 50 overs, owing to a knock of 209 from the Mumbai star. 8) 171 Vs Australia ( January 12, 2016, WACA Ground, Perth)

Scoring a ton in overseas conditions like Australia certainly shows a batsman’s proficiency in playing in different pitches. Among Rohit Sharma centuries in ODI, the stupendous knock of 171 should be at the top of the ladder, although the Indian Cricket Team didn’t end up winning the encounter. The match was held in a pace-friendly pitch of WACA, Perth. 4) 137 Vs Bangladesh ( March 19, 2015, Melbourne Cricket Ground) 

Scoring a hundred at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, that too in the Quarter Final of the Cricket World Cup, was certainly one of the greatest Rohit Sharma centuries. Two Asian teams, India and Bangladesh, met each other in the Quarter Final of the tournament. After opting to bat first, India National Team scored 302 runs. Rohit Sharma was the star of the Men in blue, scoring 137 runs off 126 balls. Suresh Raina also scored a half-century to take India to a good total. With stupendous bowling performances from Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, and Ravindra Jadeja, India wrapped up Bangladesh within 193 runs to win the match by 109 runs. 

3) 111 Vs Pakistan ( September 23, 2018, Dubai International Stadium, Dubai)


Indian Cricket Team had a tremendous Asia Cup in 2018, even though regular skipper Virat Kohli didn’t participate in it. Rohit Sharma led from the front and helped India to clinch the Asia Cup. 2) 208 Not Out Vs Sri Lanka (December 13, 2017, Mohali)


India and Sri Lanka had many high scoring matches in the past, and one such example was in 2017 when the two Asian giants met at Mohali. After batting first, the Indian posted a huge total of 392. He scored the third double ton of his career by staying not out at 208. He took only 153 balls, and amassed 12 big sixes. Other than Rohit, Shreyas Iyer scored 88 runs, while Shikhar Dhawan played a useful knock of 68. Sri Lanka was never in the game. They could only score 251 runs in 50 overs, allowing India to win by 141 runs. 

1) 264 Vs Sri Lanka ( November 13, 2014, Eden Gardens, Kolkata)


Arguably the best Rohit Sharma’s innings and certainly one of the most extraordinary ODI innings was played against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The Hitman hit an enormous score of 264, making it the highest score ever in One International Cricket history.  Out of his 3 double centuries, it was also his second one. It was just carnage right from the beginning. Facing 173 balls, he scored 264 runs, and he hit 9 over boundaries and a record 33 boundaries in that innings. He also maintained a strike rate of 152. With that innings, India posted 404 runs. It was an insurmountable task for Sri Lanka to chase, and they got all out for only 252 runs. India won the match by a margin of 153 runs.
