Toni Storm is presently one of the most recognized female wrestlers in the world, having wrestled in two biggest promotions, AEW and WWE. While she battled hard to make a mark in WWE, after she signed for AEW, she ascended to the top of the ladder right away, entering the title picture and showing fabulous character work. Toni Storm is already a three-time AEW Women’s Champion as well as the reigning champion. The 28-year-old might be a young woman, but she has been a professional wrestler for fifteen years, debuting as a professional wrestler at the age of 13. After learning the craft of wrestling and getting better at it, she moved from Australia to England for further opportunities in this field. #10 Young Toni Storm In Her Early Career 

As written before, Toni Storm embarked on her wrestling journey as a teenager and started getting serious about it after moving to England at eighteen. Around this time, she wrestled in some European countries, and at the age of 20, she signed for British promotion, Progress Wrestling. It’s one of her early 20s images, presumably from her time in the British promotion, Progress Wrestling. #9 At Stardom

Japanese company Stardom, which is an all-women promotion, produced some noteworthy female talents of modern-day wrestling, and Toni Storm was one of them, where she garnered attention with her skills. In her two-year run there, Toni Storm became the World of Stardom Champion. The title win made her the first non-Japanese wrestler to win the belt. The first major accomplishment of Toni Storm’s wrestling career was the Mae Young Classic victory in 2018. While she competed in the previous edition, she failed to get the winner’s prize. By defeating Io Sky in the final, Toni was victorious in the second edition of the tournament, making a statement to the rest of the female talents in WWE. An elated Toni is celebrating her triumph while holding the winner’s trophy. 

#6 NXT UK Women’s Champion 

Having wrestled in the United Kingdom for years, Toni Storm was put in the NXT UK brand, which is defunct now. Her maiden and only title win in WWE was capturing the NXT UK Women’s Championship once, and the title reign lasted 230 days. We see Toni Storm as the NXT UK Women’s Champion here. #5 NXT War Games Match 

War Games matches were originally introduced in WCW, but in the past few years, NXT adopted it as their gimmick matches, pitting two teams against each other in two big cages. The main roster also saw War Games matches at Survivor Series 2023. #4 Facing Charlotte Flair 

The once-promising NXT talent, Toni Storm, debuted on the SmackDown brand in 2021. Unfortunately, her main roster run ended in less than six months after she abruptly asked for her release. But before her departure, Toni Storm was in the SmackDown Women’s Championship picture with an elite star like Charlotte Flair. Storm lost her final WWE match, which was against Charlotte Flair. #3 AEW Debut 

Following her exit from WWE, Toni Storm was one of the sought-after stars in wrestling who was anticipated to sign for AEW. It took four months, but we finally saw Toni Storm in Tony Khan’s company for the first time on 30 March 2022. #2 AEW Women’s Champion

The most creative gimmick of Toni Storm’s wrestling career has been the ‘Timeless Toni Storm’. She plays a character of Hollywood’s old-school starlet, sporting the hairstyle curly old-fashioned hairstyle. The character is said to be inspired by Gloria Swanson’s character from the Hollywood classic, Sunset Boulevard. Toni Storm has rejuvenated herself with the ‘Timeless’ persona, making her captivating in terms of character development. Whether her talking style or her carefree attitude, everything about the character has clicked so far. It is a reason she has also won the AEW Women’s Championship under the current gimmick.
