With over half of the season, the count down to see a new Premier League champion is coming close. The race for the top four has even become interesting, with Manchester City taking a healthy lead over second-placed, Manchester United. On the other hand, current Premier League holder, Liverpool, has been a little shaky of late, while Leicester City, Chelsea, West Ham are also in the race for the top four.
Besides the league chart, the eyes are also on the scoring chart of the league. Many players from top teams of the league are from runners to win the coveted golden boot, which honors the top scorer in Premier League.
So who will the title of the most goals in Premier League this season? Let’s make a prediction.
#5 Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)
It might be unbelievable, but a midfielder like Bruno Fernandes is actually capable of topping the list, considering his red hot form since joining Manchester United. Besides creating numerous chances, the Portuguese playmaker has scored many goals, changing the fortune and spirits of the Red Devils single-handedly. He is a primary reason why United are sitting at second place in the Premier League table 2020-21. Fernandes is currently the second top scorer of the league, having scored 14 goals already. Yes, he gets to score penalties for his team, but he is certainly a great penalty taker as well. If Bruno can finish the season as a top scorer, it would be a huge achievement for him

Jamie Vardy, the star Leicester City striker, has shined once again this season with many impressive performances. He is one of the main reasons why Leicester City are at the top of the Premier League table and going neck to neck with Manchester United. After playing 24 games, he has already scored 12 goals. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him amassing over 20 goals to lead the goal scoring chart this season.

#3 Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton)
After a solid start of the season, the Everton forward’s goal-scoring frequency has slowed down a lot, but he is a lethal weapon for Carlo Ancelotti’s side. The English man is a clinical finisher, and he is only improving. As of now, Dominic has 13 goals in Premier League this season, keeping him in the third position in this race. He is another player who could easily touch the 20 goals mark in EPL this season.
#2 Harry Kane ( Tottenham Hotspur)
Though Tottenham Hotspur have been struggling to make a mark this season, even after a promising start, Harry Kane, their star striker has been consistently finding nets. The Jose Mourinho-coached team is, unfortunately, sitting in the middle of the EPL table, not at the top. Kane, however, has scored thirteen times despite missing out a couple of games due to injury. Like his previous seasons, he should easily touch the 20 goals mark comfortably if he manages to play all remaining Premier League fixtures.
#1 Mohamed Salah ( Liverpool)
Although Liverpool have been struggling this season with form, there is no stopping of Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian striker is still scoring, even after a dip in form in the mid-season. Given Salah’s importance, he must play a key role of the champions who want to finish at the top four. Having played all Liverpool fixtures, Salah has already scored 17 times in the league this season, placing him several goals ahead of his competitors. Needless to say, he has a possibility of scoring over 25 goals this season if he continues his exceptional form and stays injury-free throughout the season.
