English Premier League or EPL is known as the most popular football league in the world, which attracts millions of viewers from the whole world. Today, it is one of the competitive leagues in the world, that have witnessed different winners in different seasons, which is why it’s totally unpredictable. Premier League table is very competitive and as a result, the top four teams of a season get the opportunity to feature in the UEFA Champions League every year, which doesn’t happen to any other league.
The top-tier English League was renamed the Premier League in 1992. EPL is the most-watched sports league in the world, and it is telecasted in every part of the world. In the past three decades, the Premier League has produced many well-known managers, who have managed different clubs in the EPL or other leagues. However, in the 29 years of Premier League, only four managers have managed to win the league more than once, while seven managers have won it at least once. Here are the only four Premier League managers, who have written their names in the history book by winning the Premier League crown more than once.
#4 Pep Guardiola (5 Premier League Titles)
Manchester City was certainly the most dominant team of tbe last decade, winning the Premier League title a record four times. Out of those four trophies, Pep Guardiola, the current Manchester City manager, has won it twice since signing for the blue giants. Even though he has been managing City for five years, he is already a two-time EPL winner. Given the current run and position of City at the top of the table, Guardiola could clinch his third English Premier League title this season as well. Guardiola won two consecutive Premier League titles in 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons and then three more in recent times. Pep Guardiola is regarded as one of the greatest managers of any era, and he has proved his doubters wrong by conquering the Premier League as well. Before his success in England, he won La Liga as well as the UEFA Champions League while managing Barcelona. He also replicated the same success in Bundesliga, as he won the German League with Bayern Munich a few times.

#3 Arsene Wenger (3 Premier League Titles)
Arsene Wenger was one of the greatest managers in Premier League, who enjoyed a lengthy managerial career of twenty-two until departing in 2018. He was the pioneer to the success of Arsenal in the early days of his career as the manager of the Gunners. The Frenchman helped Arsenal to win the Premier League title three times, but all those title wins took place in the first ten years of his career as an Arsenal manager. First, the London-based club lifted the league trophy back in the 1997-98 season. Four years later, Wenger’s Arsenal showed domination again, winning the Premier League crown for the second time in the 2001-02 season. But his star-studded Arsenal team truly became invincible in the 2003-04 season when he won the EPL trophy for the third time in his career. His team enjoyed the longest unbeaten run in Premier League history, remaining undefeated for a record 49 games until getting beaten by Manchester United in 2004.
#2 Jose Mourinho (3 Premier League Titles)
Jose Mourinho needs no introduction, who is known as one of the best tactical managers the game has ever seen. Although his form as a coach has dipped in recent years, he is still a well-respected manager, and he is currently at the helm of Tottenham Hotspur. Meanwhile, the Portuguese manager has coached three different Premier League clubs in his managerial career, but he has lifted the trophy with only Chelsea. While he won three trophies as the manager of Manchester United, he failed to win the EPL. His greatest achievement with Red Devils was finishing second in the 2017-18 season. Mourinho was the coach of Chelsea in two different stints. His maiden Chelsea stint lasted four years, starting from 2004. In this term as Chelsea manager, he won the Premier League twice in 2004-05 and 2005-06 consecutively. Jose Mourinho’s three-year second Chelsea stint began in 2013 when he lifted the league cup once again the 2014-15 season.
#1 Alex Ferguson (13 Premier League Titles)
Alex Ferguson’s Premier League record is far superior to his competitors. By far the most successful manager not only in the Premier League era but also in the history of English Football, Ferguson has won the coveted trophy a record thirteen times, including in his final season as a manager of Manchester United. Under the supervision of the Scot, the Red Devils became one of the most dominant teams in Premier League history.
While he took charge of the Red Devils in 1986, he won the league or the newly introduced Premier League for the first time in the 1992-93 season, owing to the signing of Eric Cantona. After winning the league for the first time, Ferguson and Manchester United never looked back the next two decades because they clinched twelve more Premier League trophies afterward. Besides winning EPL, Ferguson also won the UEFA Champions League twice, attaining trebles in both of those seasons. After creating a perennial legacy, SAF called it a day in 2013, but he still claimed the EPL trophy on the last day of his managerial career. Given the incredible success and longevity of Ferguson in a tough league like Premier League, we might never see another such manager who could reach his stature.
