Many strong professional wrestlers would come and go, but there is hardly any name who could topple Goldberg in terms of strength and power. With over 280 pounds of pure muscles, Goldberg was a big man in his prime, and he was capable of doing some unimaginable things in the squared circle.

Goldberg’s wrestling career first began in 1997 in WCW, where he made an instant impact as a new monster of the company. He wrecked some big names with ease and started an unbeaten streak that lasted 173 matches. He also won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship after beating Hulk Hogan. After cementing his legacy there, Goldberg was hired by WWE in 2003. Although the company changed, his domination remained the same, as he manhandled several top stars of the company, while ended up winning the World Heavyweight Championship. He also returned to WWE after a decade in 2017.

In WCW and WWE, whether Goldberg was in his prime or later stage, he demonstrated strength in the ring numerous times to claim the tag of one of the strongest wrestlers iN history.

9) The Survivor Series Match Against Brock Lesnar (Survivor Series 2016)

The 2016 Survivor Series was the big return of Goldberg to the ring. Before the pay-per-view, he wrestled in the ring for the last time at WrestleMania 20, making it a gap of whopping twelve years. He faced Brock Lesnar in the main event, and he showed why he was the most powerful wrestler once. Lesnar attacked him, but Goldberg retaliated by pushing him which certainly stunned the former. Then he gave a couple of Spears and beat Lesnar with a Jackhammer, making the match last only 1 minute and 26 seconds.

8) Goldberg Jackhammered Mark Henry

It’s not easy to go toe-to-toe with the World’s Strongest Man unless you are Goldberg. Mark Henry, who was known as the strongest wrestler in WWE history with a legit Strongman background, collided with Goldberg. Despite a huge weight disadvantage, Goldberg overpowered Henry easily. He took a few minutes to beat Henry, making it look like a squash match. He not only Speared Henry but also picked the 400 pounds man with ease to deliver a Jackhammer.

7) Jackhammering The Giant

Big Show was known as The Giant when he was in WCW. He was billed as Andre the Giant’s son and rightfully so, he was over 7 feet tall and nearly 500 pounds. Therefore, lifting a larger-than-life figure like The Giant was next to impossible, yet Goldberg’s strength made it possible.
The faced on an episode of Nitro. Goldberg’s intensity and strength made it a short bout. But Goldberg surprised everyone in the arena and TV screen by picking up The Giant for a Jackhammer. Perhaps it was one of the best Jackhammers.

6) Speared Chris Jericho Through The Elimination Chamber Pod

Goldberg was part of the six-man Elimination Chamber match back in 2003. He faced five other men, including the World Heavyweight Champion Triple H in an Elimination Chamber match. Goldberg pinned and eliminated the likes of Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, and Chris Jericho, after manhandling them like rag dolls. But the memorable part of the Elimination Chamber match was the Spear from Goldberg to Jericho. He showed his superhuman power by giving Y2J a spear through the chamber pod, from which the latter never recovered.

5) Gorilla Pressed Scott Steiner And Brock Lesnar

Gorilla Press is one of the picturesque moves in professional wrestling. While it’s soothing for the eyes, it’s certainly not easy to perform. Made famous by The Ultimate Warrior, to perform the move, a wrestler requires huge strength, which was a reason Goldberg was proficient in doing it effectively. It was not a big deal for him to lift and Gorilla Press smaller wrestlers, but he made statements by Gorilla Pressing monstrous Superstars like Scott Steiner and Brock Lesnar. Scott Steiner and Goldberg had an amazing rivalry in WCW, and they crossed many times in there. Goldberg seamlessly delivered Gorilla Presses to Steiner several times. It was astonishing because the Big Poppa Pump was nearly 300 pounds in his heyday. Subsequently, he also did the same to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 20.

4) Jackhammered Reese

Well, Resse didn’t have a successful career in WCW, but he caught the eyes of fans for his imposing size. He was 7 feet 2 inches tall giant, while he weighed over 350 pounds, making him one of the biggest wrestlers there. But none of it mattered to Goldberg, who picked him up with ease while facing him. Goldberg squashed Resse. He gave a stupendous Jackhammer to Resse, and he picked up the latter like a lightweight.

3) Speared Vince Russo Through A Cage

There was a steel cage match going on between Scott Steiner on an episode of Nitro. But the match had an unwanted interruption from none other than Goldberg. As a matter of fact, he entered the steel cage and there was total pandemonium. Booker T gave a Superkick to Scott Steiner through the cage door, as the latter was knocked down. However, the scenario that happened next was unfathomable. Goldberg ran towards Vince Russo like a bull and connected a picture-perfect Spear. It wasn’t a normal spear because Russo was broken in half, and the Spear was through the steel cage wall

Goldberg wasn’t the same powerful man when he returned to WWE after over a decade. After touching the age of half a century, it was certainly visible in his performances, as he wasn’t able to showcase his herculean strength like in the past. But he made an expectation when he faced The Fiend for the Universal Championship at WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia. They already built the feud on WWE SmackDown. Goldberg handed The Fiend his first-ever loss in WWE, which shocked a myriad of fans. Even after going past the age of 50, Goldberg picked up The Fiend, who was nearly 300 pounds, and delivered a Jackhammer to him to win the match.

1) Goldberg Won 3-Minutes Warning In A 3-on-1 Handicap Match (RAW, May 5, 2003)

Goldberg had many handicap matches in his career, and he won a majority of them to prove his domination as a fighting machine. One such match was the first-ever WWE RAW match of Goldberg, and it was a Handicap match. Three men of 2-Minutes Warning- Rosey, Umaga, and Rico- wrestled the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Although with the numbers game the three men had an advantage at the beginning of the match, Goldberg bounced back for having superior power.
