Pep Guardiola is known as one of the greatest managers of the current generation. Given his success in the past few years, it wouldn’t wrong to call the current Manchester City’s manager the best in the game. Wherever he has managed a team, he has won trophies. From domestic cups, league cups, to European honour, he has won it all. With the new addition of the 2020-21 Premier League trophy to his impressive trophy cabinet, Pep Guardiola has won a record 31 trophies in his career.  Previously, he also won two EPL trophies for the blue side of Manchester, making him a three-time Premier League winner.

Besides Premier League, he also coached in Spain and Germany. While managing the legendary Barcelona team, he won three La Liga trophies to make the Catalans an invincible team. On the other hand, he won three consecutive league titles when he was the coach of Bayern Munich. Therefore, in his thirteen years of senior managerial career, Pep Guardiola won nine league titles for three top-tier teams of European football.

# 9  Bundesliga 2014/15: Bayern Munich

Following a successful debut season in Bundesliga, Pep Guardiola entered the next season with a lot of expectations, but he fell flat. Given the standard, he had set and what Bayern Munich had achieved, the 2014/ 15 season on wasn’t a very prosperous one for Pep Guardiola. The biggest signing for Bayern Munich was probably the arrival of star forward Robert Lewandowski, who turned out to be one of the prolific strikers in Bayern Munich history. The new striker was the top joint goal scorer for the club in that season, impressing Guardiola in his first season. Finishing at 79 points, Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga, but it was the solo title for the club in that season. While they failed to go beyond Semi-final in UEFA Champions League League 2014/15 after losing to Barcelona, they also lost the final of the DFL-Supercup.



# 8 Bundesliga 2015/16: Bayern Munich

2015/16 season was the last season of Pep Guardiola in Germany. Although he won the league, he was still underachieved, knowing his reputation of winning accolades. Despite the addition of two star players like Arturo Vidal and Douglas Costa, Bayern didn’t look lethal in the attack. First, Bayern got eliminated in the semi-final of the Telekom Cup. In the UEFA Champions League, Bayern Munich squandered the chance of winning after losing to Athletico Madrid in the last four. But Guardiola still managed to win the DFB Pokal and Bundesliga. Bayern Munich ended the season at 88 points, ten points more than the runner up, Borussia Dortmund.

# 7 Premier League 2020/21: Manchester City

Following a disappointing EPL 2019/20 season when he failed to match an indomitable Liverpool team, he bounced back in the very next season, capturing the Premier League cup for the third time in the past four seasons. After fixing a problematic defense from the previous season under the leadership of Ruben Dias, Manchester City players spectacular throughout the season, even though they were nowhere close to the point tallies they had achieved in their earlier title-winning seasons. Manchester City had a shaky start of the season, but as soon as the new signing Ruben Dias settled in the squad, the blue side of Manchester started looking unstoppable. With 86 points on the board, Man City’s manager finished at the top position, comfortably 12 points ahead of second-placed arch-rival, Manchester United. Moreover, Pep Guardiola won the EFL Cup and guided Manchester City to the UEFA Champions League final for the first time in club history.

# 6 Bundesliga 2013/14: Bayern Munich

After leaving Barcelona in 2012, Pep Guardiola signed for Bayern Munich in 2013, replacing Jupp Heynckes. A new challenge, in a new league, in a new country didn’t seem to be a problem for him because he replicated his good run from Barcelona. Guardiolla signed some notable new players like Mario Gotze and Thiago. Even though Bayern Munich was eliminated from the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, it was still a great season for the German champions. Right after arrival, he won the UEFA Super Cup by beating Chelsea. At the end of the season, he ended up winning the Club World Cup, DFL Super Cup, and Bundesliga. Meanwhile, Bayern won the league comfortably, finishing 19 points ahead of second-placed Borussia Dortmund.

# 5 La Liga 2009/10: Barcelona

Under Pep Guardiola’s supervision, Barcelona enjoyed a dream run in football, making it possibly their best run in the club history.  Known to play tiki-taka football, the Barcelona team under Pep Guardiola was a star-studded squad with many legendary, including Lionel Messi at his best. In the 2009/2010 season, Barcelona became the La Liga champion, but it was a rat race for the title between Barcelona and Real Madrid. The Catalan’s arch-rivals finished at runners up even after collecting 96 points, while Barcelona managed 99 points, making it a gap of only three points.  Messi scored 34 goals in that season. Other than La Liga, Barcelona also won Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and Supercopa, but they fell short to win the Champions League.

# 4 Premier League 2018-19: Manchester City

Like the La Liga 2009-10, Premier League table was rat race in 2018/19, which Pep Guardiola’s Man City ended up winning. It looked like Liverpool could finally win the league after almost three decades, but Manchester City snatched the win at the very last minute to make the campaign memorable. While man City ended at the astonishing EPL table with 98 points, Liverpool finished just one point behind the champion with 97 points. Despite touching almost a century, Manchester City had to toil hard to win the league. Besides the EPL, Guardiola’s side also won EFL Cup, FA Cup, and Community Shield to achieve a domestic treble.

# 3 La Liga 2008/09: Barcelona

2008/09 was the first season of Pep Guardiola as the manager of Barcelona, and he showed his merit by winning the treble in his debut season for the Catalans. Furthermore, his style of playing which was Tiki-taka, seemed unmatched for opponent teams, whether in Spain or European football.From Messi, Xavi, Thierry Henry to Samuel Eto, the Barcelona team didn’t lack star power. Lionel Messi scored 23 goals in that season, while Eto was the highest scorer with 30 goals. Barcelona comprehensively won La Liga with 9 points of a gap from Real Madrid. Pep Guardiola also won Copa del Rey and his first-ever Champions League trophy.

# 2 La Liga 2010/11: Barcelona

2010/11 season another noteworthy season for Pep Guardiola as the coach of Barcelona. He bolstered the team with signings of star players like David Villa, and Javier Mascherano. Along with Messi, Xavi, and Iniesta, Barcelona looked ruthless in that season and consequently, they not only won La Liga, but also Champions League and Supercopa. La Liga 2010-11 was another close race between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Barcelona finished with 96 points. On the other hand, Real Madrid finished just four points behind. Lionel Messi was the top scorer for the club with 31 goals.

# 1 Premier League 2017/18: Manchester City

Pep Guardiola failed to win EPL in his debut season in England, but he bounced back in style in the following season. The two-time Champions League winner won his very first Premier League trophy in 2017-18, and it was a memorable season because he became the first and only manager in EPL history to collect a record of 100 points. Sergio Aguero led the Manchester City attack along with Raheem Sterling. The blue brigade of Manchester also amassed nineteen points more than Manchester United, who finished second. Other than EPL, Guardiola also won EFL Cup in that season.
