WWE stands for World Wrestling Entertainment, so the entrainment value of the product has a huge significance in keeping the audience engaged both in the arena and on TV.  The fierce promo battles and catchy phrases raise the entertainment value, but WWE entrance music plays a part in making wrestling characters enthralling even before they grace the squared circle.  The crowd cheers for a wrestler as soon as the entrance music hits.  The biggest pops of professional wrestling are heard whenever the best entrance songs play.  

Over the years in WWE, we have seen countless memorable entrance songs. From lending voices from metal bands, rock stars,  and pop stars to the voices of wrestlers, they can incorporate different types of song. In this article, we list down some of the best ones in history. 

#10 Bray Wyatt- Live In Fear 

Bray Wyatt,  who recently passed away unexpectedly at the age of 36, would forever be legendary for his accomplishments in WWE.  His aura and spooky character mixed with brilliant creativity made him one of the best talents on the roster in the past decade.  Bray Wyatt’s spine-chilling entrance was one of the best parts of his character. With a dark arena and thousands of mobile torch lights in sight,  Bray Wyatt would enter the ring with a lantern. His entrance music was called Live in Fear, sung by Mark Crozer.  

#9 Edge- Metalingus 

Edge is the latest WWE Superstar to jump ship to AEW,  going with his real name, Adam Copeland.  His WWE career was remarkable with spectacular heel work. He won the World Heavyweight Championship eleven times in his career.  What set his character apart was the catchy theme song named Metalingus. As soon his theme song hit saying,  ‘You think you know me’,  the crowd would go crazy, making it one of best music for an entrance.

#8 The Shield- Just Another Day 

The Shield wreaked havoc right after making their debut at Survivor Series 2012. With Seth Rollins‘ leadership, Roman Reigns’ power, and Dean Ambrose’s competency, The Hounds of Justice turned into a stable to watch out in no time. While they were individually brilliant performers, they had one of the best entrance songs in WWE at that time. Firstly, their entrance was unconventional as they would enter the ring through the crowd. Their theme song ‘Just Another Day’ gave goosebumps whenever they were about to enter the ring through the audience. The best part of the theme song was when The Shield members would collectively say ‘Sierra Hotel India Echo Lima Delta Shield’.  

#7 Cody Rhodes- Kingdom 

Cody Rhodes reignites himself and his character following his move to AEW.  Apart from his improved ring skills and promo delivery,  Cody Rhodes’ theme song named ‘Kingdom’ gave him a new direction as an American Nightmare.  The crowd would sing every line of the song as he would head towards the ring.  Following his arrival at WWE,  Cody Rhodes would use the same ‘Kingdom’ theme song,  portraying the American Nightmare gimmick at the biggest stage of professional wrestling and making it one of the greatest WWE entrance music of all time, not just today.  

#6 CM Punk- Cult Of Personality

CM Punk has had a love-and-hate relationship with WWE, with The Best In The World leaving the company on bad terms in 2014. He had bad blood with WWE for years, and he went to UFC and then returned to professional wrestling through AEW, where he had a dreadful ending after the termination of the contract.  Whether in WWE ir AEW,  CM Punk used the Cult of Personality song. The theme song has become synonymous with CM Punk’s rebellious and straight-edge wrestling persona.

#5 Shawn Michaels- Sexy Boy 

Shawn Michales in his prime in the 1990s was a treat to watch. The flamboyant and magnetic personality of The Heart Break Kid helped him get a huge push, and his superior skills in the ring turned him into one of the popular stars of the New Generation Era.  HBK’s theme song was ‘Sexy Boy’,  which suited his personality immaculately.  The classic Shawn Michaels entrance would remain one of the best entrances ever.

#4 Randy Orton- Voices

Randy Orton has cemented his legacy as a future WWE Hall of Famer. Two of the iconic things about Randy Orton are- Randy Orton’s theme song called ‘Voices’ and Randy Orton’s finishing move ‘ RKO’.  Orton, however, didn’t use the song from his debut year.  Previously, he used the ‘Burn In My Light’ theme song, but he admitted to hating the song and changed eventually it in 2008. For well over a decade,  Orton has been using one of the well-known songs in WWE history.  

#3 The Undertaker- Rest In Peace 

The Undertaker’s most popular catchphrase is ‘Rest In Peace’ and the theme song for his Deadman character had the same title.  While Undertaker has had different gimmicks throughout the thirty years of his WWE career, his Deadman version of the theme song would remain evergreen.  As soon as the church bell music hits,  the fans know The Deadman will walk down the stage. Each time during the entrance, the fans in an arena would create a picturesque atmosphere

#2 John Cena- The Time Is Now 

John Cena’s sixteen-time World Championship has provided him the legend status, and he is regarded as the greatest of all time by many of his peers. For the longest time, he was the face of WWE, representing the company everywhere. One most noteworthy things about his career is the theme song, which is sung by John Cena himself. Considering he has released rap albums, it is not surprising.  Cena’s theme song ‘Your Time Is Now’ has been his entrance music since his face turn in 2005. 

#1 Stone Cold Steve Austin- Glass Shatters 

There is arguably no better and more famous entrance musics in WWE than Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Glass Shatters. Perhaps the biggest pops in wrestling history had been received from this theme song while building the anti-hero character of the Texas Rattlesnake in the Attitude Era. Even today, when the music hits with broken glass, the crowd goes wild, with WrestleMania 38 being the latest performance of Stone Cold Steve Austin.
